If you want to learn now to make a willow basket for yourself then why not come along to a workshop. I run  workshops in the Cambridge area - see below for details of  up and coming workshops.

A Summer of Basketmaking!!

	12 and 13 July - Round willow baskets for beginners and improvers. Make your own round basket (or two) with a handle. At Whittlesford Memorial Hall, Whittlesford, Cambridge.
	26 and 27 July - Oval willow baskets for beginners and improvers. Make your own oval basket (or two) with a handle. At Whittlesford Memorial Hall, Whittlesford, Cambridge.
	16 and 17 August - Colourful contemporary baskets. Make your own willow baskets with strips of painted card and/or recycled materials. Let your creativity run wild or simply make a waste paper bin or log basket that co-ordinates with your home. At Whittlesford Memorial Hall, Whittlesford, Cambridge.

The cost of all the workshops is £75 per person for the two days. The price includes materials for one basket. If you want to make a second basket there will be an additional cost of £5 for the extra willow. If you want to come to all three summer workshops then the cost will be £210 for the series. Tea and coffee will be provided but you will need to bring your own lunch. To book a place, please send me your name, address and phone number together with a cheque for the workshop fee, letting me know which workshop you are booking. Cheques should be made payable to 'Eleanor Clapp'. I will send out details about what to bring for the workshop a few weeks beforehand. My address can be found on my Contact me page.

Alternatively, if you would like me to run a workshop for you or your group then please contact me for further information. A beginners basket making course usually requires two days for everyone to make a small to medium basket with a handle.
