10-13 April - Easter

Happy Easter everyone!! On Good Friday we went to Granny and Grandad's for lunch. We had a lovely day and had sunny weather but we were too busy playing and enjoying ourselves to take any photos! This weekend Daddy fitted a new garage door, so Mummy, Millie and Charlie went out to Histon and fed the ducks, went to the park and visited the toy shop. On Sunday we all went swimming, and Millie went swimming for the first time. Everyone had fun but we were pretty tired by the end of the day. Here is a picture of us getting ready for bed on Sunday night. On Monday morning Millie had a go in the bouncer for the first time while Charlie helped her bounce and played with cars.

Wednesday 25 March - Charlie got a trampoline!!

Charlie unwrapped his birthday present from his Godmother, Auntie Ruth, and Uncle John this morning. It was a trampoline, which Daddy put together before he went to work. Charlie has enjoyed doing lots of bouncing, and Millie has been happy watching him from her chair. Here is also Charlie calming down and playing with the 'Wedgits' blocks that Nanny and Grandad bought for his birthday.

Monday 23 March 2009 - Charlie's Second Birthday

On Saturday we went to visit Nanny and Grandad for the day (as it was Grandad's birthday). Here we are in the front garden and Charlie having a ride in Grandad's wheel barrow. On Monday Charlie came downstairas to find balloons and a pile of birthday presents. Here he is playing with his duplo train that Millie bought him. Later on some friends came round for his birthday party. Sitting round the little table are: Charlie, Oscar, Jude and Brian. Their Mummies are friends with Charlie's Mummy. We all had a lovely birthday tea and Mummy made Charlie a birthday cake in the shape of a fire engine. After the birthday tea we played pass the parcel and played in the conservatory. Here is also a picture of Millie in her nice dress and cute socks that Rosie's Uncle Chris bought her.

14 March 2009 - Super Science Saturday

This week is science week and we went into Cambridge to look at some of the things going on. Charlie had a ride in Daddy's car because it was a nice(ish) day. We then rode on the bus into town. Here is a picture of Charlie sticking things onto some pretend glasses (part of science week activities - not sure why!).We then went a played on the escalators in the Grand Arcade. Charlie loves escalators.

March 2009 - Funny things Charlie says

Life has been ticking along. Charlie is now saying longer and longer sentances like: "saw two hot air balloons and aeroplane on way to Nanny's in car while listening to songs like row row boat".  He was looking at his book of animals the other day and after looking at the otter he said "otter in sky". Mummy was puzzled by this and after asking what Charlie meant, he said "otter in sky on way to Nanny's". He had obviously got 'hot air' and 'otter' confused. Mummy and Daddy had to pin their lips together not to laugh out loud at the idea of otter balloons!!! Here is a picture of Charlie about to 'hide' by the bookcase. Here is also a picture of Phil, Rosie and Millie all being girls together.

28 February - Visit to Nanny's

We went to visit Nanny and Grandad as we haven't seen them for a while. Nanny has broken her arm and hurt her knee so Charlie went with Mummy to the flower shop to buy some flowers for her. We spent the day playing. Here is Grandad holding Millie and playing with Charlie, who is driving the rocking car to the flower shop.

27 February - picnic in the garden

It was lovely and warm today; and Phil and Rosie came over for lunch. We took the picnic table and chairs into the garden and had a picnic for lunch. We then had lots of excitement watching the lorry delivering the bricks and sand to the front of our neighbours house as they are having their block-paving driveway redone.

20 February - Rosie's birthday party

Although it was Rosie's birthday on the 18th February, she had her birthday tea party on Friday afternoon, when she wasn't at nursery. You can see pictures on Rosie's website. Here we all are in our party hats having tea. Here is Charlie looking very smart in his shirt, and Millie looking at Auntie Phil very intently.

14 February - Millie looking cute and a late night

Granny and Grandard stopped by on their way to Phil and Andrew's house. Millie was wearing her new dress that Phil bought her and was looking really cute. She had lots of cuddles with Grandad. In the evening we went out to Charlie's Godmother, Ruth's birthday party. Here we are eating our tea in the Wordsworth room at John's College with Charlotte and Sophie who were very friendly and liked cuddling Millie. We were both very well behaved and stayed out till after 8 o clock!!

Yesterday Charlie chose a birthday balloon for Mummy. Today is Mummy's birthday and to celebrate we went out for lunch with Phil and Rosie, who then came back to our house to play. We then had a birthday tea at teatime. Mummy made some yummy birthday cake with candles on. Here we are with the birthday balloon; and here is Phil giving Millie a cuddle. 31 January - Trip to Wimpole Home Farm

We had a day out to Wimpole Home Farm and met Phil, Andrew and Rosie and their friends Chris and Mario who were also there for a visit. Here I am riding on a horse with Daddy; driving through muddy puddles with Mummy; riding on tractors with Rosie and Phil; jumping off a straw bale into Daddy's arms; and all of us in the hay barn. Afterwards we all had lunch together and I got lots of custard down me!! More pictures can be found on Rosie's website.
