Visit from Nanny and Grandad - 16-19 July

Nanny and Grandad came over to visit and stayed in their caravan a few villages away. On Thursday morning we went to visit them for morning coffee in their caravan, which was fun. On Friday we went to Linton Zoo and I had a lot of fun toddling about. Unfortunately we didn't quite remember to take a camera with us, so there are no pictures. However, here is a picture of me in the garden on 23 July enjoying the much better weather this week and playing with my watering can (I don't have my shorts on because I dribbled juice all over them earlier and they were drying out)!

happy birthday  Happy Birthday Auntie Betty!!

It is my (step) great-grandmother's 90th birthday and she is having her birthday party on Monday 14 July. Although we are not able to be with the family at her birthday party, we wish her lots of love and best wishes. Here is a cheery smiley for you Aunty Betty!!

5 July 2008 - Sawston Pea Picking

We took part in the annual Sawston tradition of picking the peas planted for the residents of the village. Although it was a bit wet and thistly, we had some yummy peas for tea! (In the first picture, I am the one in the red at the front).

I enjoyed a lovely hot afternoon playing on the swings and rides on Lammas Land. Rosie loved paddling in the toddler pool but I enjoyed splashing with my feet before wanting to paddle properly.

2 June 2008 - News!

Today was the first time I walked on my own without holding on. At first it was just a few steps towards Mummy, but when Daddy came home this evening I could walk across the room.  However, I can't yet stand up on my own so when I lose my balance I then have to crawl!!

Here is also a little video of me playing with Rosie which Auntie Phil took, I am showing how well I can play with crayons!! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnEy9mtQmm0

24 May 2008 - Herts County Show

We had a day out at the Herts County Show. Mummy spent some time spinning with her old spinning group while Daddy and I looked round a bit on our own, but we also had time all together as a family to see things too. Here I am driving the old tractors.

14 May 2008 - My first trip to the sea-side

Daddy took a day of holiday and we all went to the sea-side at Clacton to enjoy the sun. Here is me on the beach splashing in the sea. We then had a picnic on the beach while my shorts dried and afterwards I played in the sea some more, (Mummy had to change my t-shirt because it got all wet) and then I played with the sand. Then we went on the pier and I played on some ride-on cars (although Mummy didn't make them move).  We had ice-cream, looked round shops and played some more on the beach before heading home.

12 May 2008 - Tea at Finchingfield

As the weather is still lovely Mummy thought it would be nice to go to pretty Finchingfield and have tea. We also met up with Granny and Grandad as we all live about the same distance from Finchingfield. Here is a picture of us having tea and then looking at the ducks on the pond on the green.

May Bank Holiday 2008

On Saturday we went to a Baines family gathering to celebrate my great, great Aunt's 90th birthday. There was a bouncy castle. I enjoyed playing on it with Rosie and the other kids. I also had a ride on a little tractor.

On Satruday evening we went to Nanny and Grandad's house to stay and on Sunday we went on a trip to Stratford Butterfly House. Here is Nanny with a butterfly that landed on her hand, and Mummy and me looking at a butterfly.

We got home on Sunday evening and on Monday the weather was nice and sunny so we played in the garden. Mummy filled my paddling pool with water and here is me playing in the garden, while Daddy relaxes:
