29/30 March 2008 - More birthdays
I was invited to Alex's birthday party on Saturday.
Alex is my friend who has recently started to go to my
playgroup and is one week younger than me. I enjoyed all
the balloons Alex had and his Mummy let me take a couple
home with my party bag. I also got a little toy car and
some bubble mixture. On Sunday, we all went out for Sunday
lunch and we bumped into Alex and his family when we were
leaving!! In the afternoon Daddy and I played with my new
bubble mixture.
23 March 2008 - My Birthday (and Easter)!!
We are staying with Nanny and Grandad. Yesterday Mummy
picked up a slide/climbing frame for me, but it needed
washing down. Here she is with Grandad's jet washer out in
the cold! This morning I woke up early to see the snow
outside and Mummy made a cake while I played. Later on I
opened my presents. Here I am with them wrapped up, and
then playing with all my lovely things. Thank you everyone
for my great presents. I like playing with the balls I got
from Mummy and Daddy. For lunch we had a tea party with
Nanny, Grandad, Aunty Penny, Uncle Tony, Daddy and Mummy.
Mummy helped me blow the candle out on my cake. After lunch
it was sunny enough to try out my new slide, which is now
all nice and clean.

Mid March - playing and stuff
As the weather was nice Mummy and I played outside in
my little car. Here we are playing 'Horsey, Horsey', which
is a favorite of mine. Mummy also made me a hat this week -
she seems to have forgotton to finish knitting it before
letting me wear it as it still has lots of needles sticking
out here! She did finish it off later on though.
Mothers Day - 2 March 2008
Auntie Claudia came over to stay and was in the spare
room when I woke up (and still there when we got back
from church!!). Auntie Claudia, Mummy and I headed off
to Shepreth Wildlife Park after lunch when Daddy headed
off to an orchestra rehearsal. Phil, Rosie and Andrew
also turned up at the wildlife park. Here I am with
Mummy, who is also giving Rosie a cuddle. We all came
back home for tea (although I had my nap when everyone
else was eating scones!!) and played until dinner time.
Here I am playing with Claudia.
Keeping Busy at the end of February.
This week I have been up to a lot of exploring and
playing. Here I am pulling all the books off the bookshelf;
helping Mummy do the washing up; Rosie came over to play
and we both played on my car; here I am on my car when
Rosie stopped pushing me; at the end of the month the
weather was so nice that Mummy and I had our afternoon
drink and snack in the garden - here I am on the grass and
eating a biscuit.
16 February 2008 - Rosie's birthday party!!
Happy Birthday Rosie!! (well actually her birthday is
the 18th but her party was today). We went over to Rosie's
house and had birthday tea. I got to play with all the
lovely paper wrapping up Rosie's new toys. I got a couple
of presents too, so I didn't feel left out. Here I am
eating birthday cake; playing on Rosie's rocking horse, and
shredding paper. In the evening, I had my bath at Rosie's
house and slept over for the evening (Mummy and Daddy went
to a party). Here I am having fun playing with Rosie once
she has got into her pajamas. Mummy said I wasn't to play
too roughly though!!
15 February 2008 - visit to Granny and Grandad
Today Mummy needed to go to Colchester to check out a
venue for a basketmaking workshop. After a little walk in
the woods we stopped off at Granny and Grandad for lunch.
Mummy got a birthday cake and so we all had cake later on
too! Here is me reading with Mummy, crawling about and
standing up on the coffee table.
10 February 2008 - Mummy's birthday
Yesterday I had a Daddy day and got to play with Daddy
all day! Hurray!! Mummy went off with Auntie Phil for a day
of pampering at Henlow Grange. Mummy did bathtime as Daddy
cooked a lovely meal for Mummy (I had some of the cheese
cake on Monday and it was yummy!). Today Daddy went off in
the morning for a rehearsal. After lunch we picked up
Rosie, Phil and Andrew and went to see Daddy playing a
concert. I liked the music and clapped along. We didn't
stay to the end as I got a bit squirmy but I was fine when
we went back to Rosie's house to play. Here I am looking
cute at Rosie's house.
30 January 2008 - 10 months old
Today I have finally managed to crawl and actually get
to where I wanted to go! Hurray! Here is a picture of
me crawling towards some wool. Yesterday Phil and Rosie
came over to have lunch and play in the afternoon. Here
is a picture of us both holding ourselves up - me on my
knees and Rosie standing fully up.
You can see more pictures of us playing in the ball
pool and going out in the tandem buggy on
Rosie's webpage.
22 January 2008 - Visit to Alison and baby Zoe
Today we went over to visit Mummy and Daddy's friend
Alison and to see her new baby Zoe. She was very cute,
and although I didn't think much of her at first,
I was interested in her when Mummy held her. We had
lunch round their house and Chris had made some yummy
cake, which I liked.

Lunch at Marks Tey
Today Mummy and I went over to see Granny and Grandad
and had lunch with them. As it was rainy outside we
spent the day playing inside and I liked playing with
the tub of old Christmas cards. Here we are playing on
the bed upstairs after looking at the birds out of the
window, and here I am practising the piano too!!
Christmas Visit to Nanny and Grandad Clapp
We went to visit Nanny and Grandad after Christmas.
Here I am packing the suitcase. At Nanny's house I got
to use Daddy's old highchair:
On Sunday we went to see the farm animals at Hatton
Country World. Here I am on a swing; looking at a
baby piglet and baby lamb (Mummy liked these a lot);
driving a little car; and looking at the Guinea
Pigs:

And lastly....here I am with Nanny, Grandad and Daddy
sitting round the table after tea the following
day.
Comparisons
We looked at old photos while at Nanny's house. Here
are some interesting pictures. First is a picture of
Grandad David when he was a baby - it looks quite a lot
like me! Second is a picture of Daddy at 9 months (my
age at Christmas). Daddy was walking at this age but I
much prefer to sit (although I am practising on my
hands and knees!). Last is a picture of Daddy when he
was little in the same highchair that I used when I
went to visit Nanny more than 30 years later!!!
