Granny and Grandad Baines stayed over our house on Christmas Eve. I went to the crib service at Church on Christmas Eve and I took a wise man down to the front to put by the crib. On Christmas morning Auntie Claudia, Auntie Phil, Uncle Andrew and cousin Rosie came over for the day. I had lots of presents but also enjoyed playing with Rosie's toys. Rosie got given a ballet costume from her Nana and looked very pretty. I was given a drum by Mummy and Daddy. On Boxing Day I got a rocking horse from Mummy and Daddy and we went over to Rosie's house for a little visit.

The hairdresser came to our house this afternoon and gave me a hair cut so I am nice and smart for Christmas (so Mummy says). Here are the before and after photographs:

Today I was Christened. I dressed up in smart white clothes and went to church on a Saturday afternoon. Rev. Giles Kendall performed the ceremony and my Godparents are Ruth Franklin, Sarah Taylor and Rhys Taylor. Afterwards all my friends and family came back to my house and we all had tea and cake. It was a very full house but I had a wonderful time.

Mummy took me over to see Ruth, who is to be my Godmother, this afternoon. We had fairy cakes. Then we both went over to Rachel's house and I had my tea. We all sat about chatting before I went home for my bath. Ruth and Rachel were going late night shopping.

Mummy and I went to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve at Welney with auntie Phil and cousin Rosie. Here is Rosie and I in our backpacks about to trek off. Our matching knits are courtesy of our Granny Susan. Here I am in the observatory waiting for the swans to be fed. You can see Whooper swans and Potchard ducks through the window. You can see some more pictures of me and Mummy on Rosie's webpage.

Here I am flying in my new (second-hand) swing in the garden - it is shaped like a rocket or aeroplane. Here I am again, flying like the light in my bedroom that uncle Ben bought me when I was little.
Here I am dressed as a skeleton modelling Mummy's new basket chair she made a few days ago. In the afternoon I went to Rosie's fancy dress Hallowe'en party. You can see more pictures on Rosie's webpage.

I was invited to Henry's second birthday. We went for a ride on the Audley End mini railway and then had lunch at Henry's house. Here are some pictures stolen from Raj's website

In the morning, I helped Daddy practice his violin, while I played the piano. After lunch Mummy and Auntie Phil went to the toy and clothes sale in the village. Uncle Andrew looked after me and Rosie while we had our naps at my house (although I didn't nap for very long!!). Afterwards Rosie and I played together and had tea and our bath together before Rosie went home and I went to bed (below is a picture of us in matching pyjamas).
