Today was the last day that I got to play with cousin Rosie all day, as next week she will be at nursery all 3 days her mummy works. We went to the park and swung on the swings, Mummy made sure we each got a go on the different swings.
We met up with my friend Henry (and his parents Sarah and Raj) and cousin Rosie (and Uncle Andrew and Auntie Phil) and had a meal at Anglesey Abbey to celebrate Daddy's birthday. We wandered round the garden, looked at some dahlias and had afternoon tea and played on the grass. There are some more pictures on Rosie's webpage too.

We went to the Peak District and I enjoyed going on walks in my back pack. Here

This is when I went to visit Mummy's distant rellie, Jill Goodwin. Mummy
borrowed one of her eel traps and I saw lots of pretty colours of wool she and
her daughter Jenny had dyed using natural dyes.

On Bank Holiday Monday we went on a visit to the Cambridge Museum of Technology; I also played with Daddy in the garden at the wekend; on Wednesday cousin Rosie came over and here is both of us having lunch. I tried avocado and sweet potato for the first time (I preferred the sweet potato).
Charlie's first tooth started to come through on 20 August and he has suffered a few days of being a little out of sorts. Here he is with a bit of carrot to chew on. On 22 August he entertained his cousin Rosie for the day, and they both showed off their matching jumpers made by Granny Susan. Charlie is now 5 months old.

Charlie visited the Classic Cars event at Silverstone and was lucky enough to be able to sit inside this lovely Jaguar car (probably the only time in his life he'll sit inside a super-car).
When he got home, Charlie had his first piano lesson.
