Our meetings are held at Christchurch Baptist Church, 110 Parkway, Welwyn Garden City AL8 6HN. For a map of the area click here. Please note - there are three churches in the area so make sure you get the right one!
Members are told about when the meetings are, and informed of other topical news and issues, by e-mail. If you would like to be on the distribution list, please contact our secretary.
We do not hold regular meetings, but we do meet together about six times a year. Our meetings are in various formats:
Meetings are usually for the whole day either on a Saturday or occasionally on a weekday.

Optional Visit to the V&A, meet Mary Butcher who will take us to galleries and show objects that have inspired her. Bring sketchbooks and cameras to document inspirational items. Meet 11.00am Sackler Centre |
| Saturday 21 November | Member-Led Workshop - with Tricia Fraser and Elaine Kingsford. Back to Basics Cane Basketry for beginners and improvers. Make a simple cane basket or experiment with more complex ‘fancy’ bases. Materials provided at cost |

| Saturday 23 January | Member-Led Workshop on Plaited Shoes - with Joyce Hicks. Improvers and experienced. Make a plaited paper shoe (or a pair) in two different designs. Materials provided or bring your own. (Plus, simple themed cardboard plaiting for beginners with Elaine Kingsford.) |

Hatfield Living Crafts A team of basketmakers from the Group will be manning a stall at this large and prestigious craft fair at Hatfield House. Setting up Wednesday 5 May. |
| Saturday 19 June | Member-Led Workshop on Deconstructing Willow and other woody materials - with Maggie Smith. Suitable for all. Learn how to strip and process willow and other woods to obtain bark and make fibres for cording, twining and coiling. Some materials provided or bring your own. |

Member or Tutor led workshops take place at our usual venue – Christchurch Community Centre, Welwyn Garden City. Arrive at 10.00am for 10.30 start until 4.00pm. Open workshops are 10.30am - 3.30pm in the CCC Body and Soul Room.
If you would like to come to any of these meetings but are not a regular member, please contact the Group's secretary beforehand to confirm the time, date and location of the meeting.
If you would like to come to any of the outing, please let us know so that we can confirm numbers with the venues.
Visitors are welcome at all of our meetings, but priority for workshop places will be given to members.
