	Eleanor Clapp - Maker of traditional, historical and modern baskets from English willow and rush.

Please note that I am not currently making baskets as I am looking after my young family full time. I also do not have any immediate plans for running works shops.  

I make baskets using the traditional English materials of willow and rush. 

I live just south of Cambridge, close to the borders of Hertfordshire and Essex. I have been a member of the Basketmakers Association for many years, and was an inaugural member of the Hertfordshire Basketry Group. 

I have many years experience in making baskets from willow using traditional English techniques and make willow or rush baskets to commission.You can see some of the commissions I have made on my commissions page.

I have recently started to run workshops teaching beginners and improvers the skills of willow basketry in the Cambridge area. See my workshops page for details of past workshops.
